      <description>&lt;p&gt;Safeside Presenters &amp;ldquo;Lifeskills&amp;rdquo; and/or &amp;ldquo;Safestart&amp;rdquo; Programmes&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated people to join our team of Safeside Presenters to deliver safety education on our &amp;ldquo;Lifeskills&amp;rdquo; programme to Key Stage 3 Secondary pupils and/or on our &amp;ldquo;Safestart&amp;rdquo; Programme to Parents and Carers of children under 5 years old.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The &amp;ldquo;Lifeskills&amp;rdquo; programme delivers key safety messages to Year 8 pupils in the areas of fire safety, road safety, internet safety, in-car safety and drugs awareness. Themes of citizenship and the impact of risky behaviour on personal safety, the safety of others and the environment are also covered.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The &amp;ldquo;Safestart&amp;rdquo; programme delivers key safety message to parents/carers of babies and very young children. The messages are delivered using realistic scenarios including the full size house, road crossing and car.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The role of the Presenter is to: &lt;br /&gt;&amp;bull; Meet and greet visitors to Safeside in a confident, professional manner. &lt;br /&gt;&amp;bull; Instruct, guide, and facilitate groups of visitors.&lt;br /&gt;&amp;bull; Take part in the briefing session before the visit. &lt;br /&gt;&amp;bull; Answer any questions or deal with queries that visitors have.&lt;br /&gt;&amp;bull; Be responsible for the Welfare and Health and Safety of the visitors while they are at Safeside.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;You will be employed on a Casual (Zero hours) contract, and need to be available during the week and on some evenings and weekends.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;No qualifications are essential but you will be required to undertake training before you start work. The initial training will consist of a half day induction followed by practical scenario training.
