West Midlands Fire Service is committed to partnership working to achieve our aims, targets and objectives and those of related agencies.
We develop our activities and ensure that we are at the heart of decision making processes in the West Midlands Region. This includes membership of Local Strategic Partnerships, Responsible Action Groups and other advisory forum. Involvement in these ensures that the West Midlands Fire Service remains a visible item on everyone's agenda.
Many Station Commanders are involved at local level in project negotiations for public funding. These include Single Regeneration Budgets (SRB), New Deal for Communities, and Neighbourhood Renewal monies. We have had many successes, in securing funding to support our community fire safety work.
We also continue to work in partnership with other emergency services, such as the ambulance, health, police, private business, community groups, the voluntary sector and the local authorities to provide a service to a diverse community that lives and work within the Brigade boundaries. Sponsorship and External Funding ensures that we can successfully deliver our Fire Safety message, which in the long term saves lives.
We have a large range of activities that sponsors can be involved in, at local and regional level.
Anyone wishing to discuss opportunities should call our Partnership Officer, Sheetal Panchmatia, on 0121 380 6948 or email sheetal.panchmatia@wmfs.net who will be happy to advise and deal with your enquiries.
