The Academy Water Rescue team offer training in water rescue techniques and provide assessment. To enable crews and teams to carry out their roles efficiently using the safe systems of work that minimises the risk to the rescuer and to provide effective rescue for the casualties.
Our training venues offer realistic environments at all levels and the range of equipment provide for training is in line with Defra team typing equipment requirements
All learning opportunities are designed to meet the Defra training guidance and can be referenced to National Operational Standards.
All training is provided by appropriately qualified instructors that have over 10 years experience as practitioners; all instructional staff appropriate qualifications and teaching awards.
