The Academy working and rescue from height team offer training in safe working at height and line rescue techniques and assessment to enable personnel to carry out their roles efficiently, using the safe systems of work that minimises the risk to them and for rescue provides effective rescuers for the casualties.
Our training venues offer realistic environments including urban industrial and rural training areas. The extensive range of equipment provided for training is based on items selected by most line rescue teams.
All learning opportunities are designed to meet the Safe Working at Height regulations and best practice. These can be referenced to National Operational Standards.
All training is provided by appropriately qualified instructors that have considerable experience as practitioners and hold appropriate qualifications and teaching awards.
