Breathing Apparatus

Breathing Apparatus/Fire Behaviour Training/Positive Pressure Ventilation

The Academy Breathing Apparatus training team offer Fire and Rescue Service personnel the most current methods of training and assessment to carry out their roles efficiently using the safe systems of work and in order to minimise the risk to personnel and the communities they serve.

Our facilities offer realistic simulations using hot fire training buildings, compartment fire fighting training units and ventilation scenarios that replicate the types of incidents attended by operational personnel.

These opportunities are designed using current National and Regional “better practice” models and can be cross referenced to National Operational Standards.

All training is provided by appropriately qualified instructors that have extensive experience as practitioners and have a proven track record of high standards of delivery. All instructional staff are sector competent and
hold nationally recognised teaching qualifications.
