First Line Manager Development

We deliver a nationally recognised Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) Level 3 Vocationally Related Qualification (VRQ) in Leadership and Management skills at award and certificate level, to all aspiring or newly appointed first line managers. The programmes run with a mix of operational supervisory managers, control room and support staff which we find adds great value to the learning experience. All these qualifications are available to individuals or other organisations. Additionally, we have the capacity to run organisationally specific programmes if this is preferred.

In addition to the ILM qualifications we deliver comprehensive organisationally based development programmes to ensure team members and managers have access to the skills and knowledge they need to effectively perform in their role both currently and to meet future needs.We also run team building activities (usually one day duration) which can, if required be individually tailored to a particular need and which suit all levels of fitness.

Middle Manager Development

The middle manager development programme is designed to support performance through appropriate learning and development and to encourage the development of excellent leadership skills. You have a variety of modules to select from which range from Investigative Skills to Leadership masterclasses. If you are new in middle management or require a refresher in some areas, the modules provide up to date knowledge and can be tailored to meet your organisational needs.

Strategic Manager Development

The strategic manager development programme is designed to support performance focused learning and development. It is also designed to provide you with the required behaviours to enable you to demonstrate competence within a strategic manager role. The programme also provides the opportunity to work towards the ILM level 7 Award in Strategic Leadership. The ten modules offer a wide range of learning which includes Managing Finance; HR Planning; Change Management and Health and Safety. The use of guest speakers provides different perspectives to strategic issues giving the programme high impact.
