Becoming a Community Volunteer for the West Midlands Fire Service is an exciting opportunity to make new friends, develop new skills, gain work experience and make a difference in your local community

Opportunities include:

  • To act as a visitor guide in our interactive safety village - Safeside
  • To assist with the delivery of Home Safety Checks
  • Build links between Community organisations and the West Midlands Fire Service,
  • To help develop, design and deliver community safety activities.
  • To assist operational crews in local fire safety initiatives, as and when required.
